Hi, I’m Jessica.

Welcome to my little corner — where travel, culture and the curious come to life. My Bibimbap Life serves as a digital journal, woven from personal stories of (mostly) solo adventures across the globe.

As an ESL teacher in South Korea who fell in love with the unknown, I’ve spent most of my adult life exploring and adapting to new experiences and destinations. To me, there’s nothing more thrilling than discovering something new or learning about this incredible world we live in.

My aim is simple yet profound: to share my unique journey as I navigate this wild world as a proud queer woman who never wants to stop learning.

Join me as I step off the beaten path, seeking not just destinations but connection — with new landscapes, diverse traditions and the universal pursuit of well-being.

Enjoy your stay and stay wild!

“Wherever you go, go with all your heart.”

Because There’s More to Life Than Travel

Travel stretches the edges of curiosity, collecting small discoveries, unfamiliar flavors and quiet moments that subtly reshape perception. Every tucked-away alley or unplanned conversation becomes a small gift — a nudge that widens perspective, adds a new color to the mental map and serves as a reminder of how vast the world can be when attention is given.

Returning home, the familiar calm and safety settle around you and those bright fragments of journey feel even more precious against the ordinary. Travel teaches us to fold curiosity, patience and a little wonder into everyday routines, so that simple mornings and small tasks keep carrying the glow of new places long after the suitcase is put away.

Wellness

Because I’m secretly hoping to collect a lifetime of tomorrows

Almost ten years ago, I landed in South Korea as an ESL teacher, then later returned home to study Interior Design. Now, my days are spent perfecting downward dog with my Frenchie, Apollo, plotting the next getaway and falling down rabbit holes of wellness, food and culture.

Thanks for dropping in.
