Travel Guide
Chile
Incredibly diverse landscapes, world-renowned food and wine and a captivating culture full of art and history, Chile truly spans all genres. Chile is a long, narrow country stretching along South Americaโs western edge for more than 3,500 miles of Pacific Ocean coastline. Resting in a valley surrounded by the Andes and Chilean Coast Range mountains, Santiago, itโs capital, offers a jumping off point for Chileโs northern region, including Atacama Desert, as well as its southern half, home to Torres del Paine National Park and Chiloรฉ Island. Chile is also a destination for satisfying beverages of wine, beer and pisco, along with delicious fare of all varieties, particularly seafood. And though there wasnโt enough time to visit, both Easter Island, known as Rapa Nui for its iconic stone statues, and Valparaรญso, a colorful port city and UNESCO World Heritage Site, offer something special.
