Travel Guide
Indonesia
Indonesia is a country in Southeast Asia and Oceania between the Indian and Pacific Oceans. It’s made up of more than 17,000 islands including Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi and parts of Borneo and New Guinea. The nation is known for unique tourist attractions, natural wonders and delicious food. Some of the best fare includes nasi goreng (fried rice), mie goreng (fried noodles), sate (skewered and grilled meat), soto (soup) and rendang, a spicy meat dish.
Some of the most beautiful destinations include areas like Ubud and Bali, where beaches, volcanoes and peaceful jungles dominate. In the uplands of Bali, Ubud is where you’ll find Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a must see, along with Tegalalang Terraces, offering views of vibrant green rice terraces. Seminyak was another favorite stop but there was so much left unseen: Komodo National Park, Mount Bromo and Raja Ampat.
