Travel Guide
Croatia
Where rich culture, fresh Mediterranean cuisine and fine wine converge. Croatia is a country in Central and Southeast Europe, on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Its rocky Dalmatian shore is dotted with seaside villages, secret beaches and ancient walls like those found in Dubrovnik, surrounding Old Townโs churches, palaces and terracotta rooftops. But the Games of Thrones vibes donโt stop there.
Up the coast lies Split, a city best known for the ruins of the Palace of Diocletian, along with several noteworthy islands like Hvar, Vis and Braฤ. At its center, Croatia is home to Plitviฤe Lakes National Park where water flows over limestone and chalk, over thousands of years, and deposited travertine barriers, creating natural dams that have in turn created a series of beautiful lakes, caves and waterfalls.
