Croatia
Where rich culture, fresh Mediterranean cuisine and rocky coastlines converge. Croatia is a country in Central and Southeast Europe, on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Its rocky Dalmatian shore is dotted with seaside villages, secret beaches and ancient walls like those found in Dubrovnik; walls that surround Old Townโs countless churches, palaces and sloping terracotta rooftops. But the Games of Thrones vibes donโt stop there.
Up the coast lies Split, a city best known for sprawling ruins of the Palace of Diocletian, along with several must see islands like Hvar, Vis and Braฤ. Centrally, Croatia is home to Plitviฤe Lakes National Park where water has flowed over limestone and chalk for thousands of years, depositing travertine barriers and creating natural dams that have in turn formed a series of beautiful lakes, caves and waterfalls.
