Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is a Caribbean island and unincorporated U.S. territory with lush landscapes of mountains, waterfalls and tropical rainforests. In San Juan, the capital and largest city, the Old San Juan neighborhood is filled with colorful Spanish colonial buildings and impressive centuries-old fortresses of El Morro and La Fortaleza.
Vieques Island is home to a pristine wildlife refuge, wild horses and the world's brightest bioluminescent bay. Puerto Rico is also known for beautiful tropical beaches, delicious cuisine, a lively music scene (think, salsa) piรฑa coladas and a rich cultural blend of indigenous, Spanish and African traditions.
