Sint Maarten
Part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Sint Maarten is a country on the southern part of a Caribbean island shared with Saint Martin, a French overseas collectivity. The island is known for its delicious seafood, wild nightlife and upscale shopping, while its natural features span beautiful lagoons, beaches and salt pans. The capital of Philipsburg has cobblestone streets and colorful, colonial-style buildings lining its Front Street shopping area. The island life also offers many activities for adrenaline junkies, including snorkeling, diving, waterskiing and even, the steepest zipline in the world.
