FAQs
Which service is right for me?If you need help solving a specific design question, the Design Power Hour is a great place to start. If you want a complete design developed for one room, choose the Room Design Blueprint. If you have a larger project or several design decisions to work through collaboratively, the Design Intensive gives us dedicated time to work together. Already have your design direction and simply need help finding furniture? Furniture Sourcing may be the right fit.
Do you offer in-person design services?These services are currently offered virtually, allowing us to work together regardless of where you live. Your intake materials, photos, measurements and virtual consultation give me the information I need to understand your space and develop thoughtful recommendations.
How accurate do my measurements need to be?Your measurements don't need to be construction-documentation perfect but they do need to be reasonably accurate—especially for furniture placement and sizing. I'll provide a Measurement Guide with simple instructions before your consultation. If something looks unclear or inconsistent, we'll review it together during our Design Discovery.
Do I need to know my design style before we start?Not at all. You don't need to arrive with a perfectly defined design style. Your questionnaire and Design Discovery give us an opportunity to talk about what you love, what isn't working, and how you want your space to feel. Inspiration images are helpful, but they're not required.
Do you purchase furniture for me?Furniture is purchased directly by the client. Your design or sourcing package includes carefully selected products and direct shopping links so you can purchase at your convenience. When available, I may also provide access to trade pricing or designer resources.
What happens if I don't like the design?The Room Design Blueprint includes a Design Presentation so we can walk through the recommendations together rather than simply sending you a finished document. You'll also have one opportunity for minor refinements after the presentation. Significant changes to the design direction or additional design work can be added for an additional fee.
